Welcome

Need Advice? We're always listening.

Here2Talk is Habbo's only free professional counselling service, run by a team of counsellors.

In real life it can be difficult to seek advice or guidance, but our service makes it easy to chat anonymously online to a Counsellor about anything which troubles you, free of charge.

From stress to bullying, relationships to family trouble, our counsellors will sit down and talk with you privately, offering you comfort. Whatever the issue, big or small, embarrassing or private, nothing is wrong or right.

Our counsellor will listen to you and try to understand your feelings from your point of view. He or she will work with you to help you find your own ways of dealing with any issues, offering support and courage. This gives you the chance to talk privately and confidentially about your experiences and feelings in a way that is rarely possibly with family and friends.

Sometimes even the smallest issue in real life can grow to be big and lead to depression. We wont label or judge you. We listen and only understand, helping you to make the right decisions, offering the guidance and support that you desire.

Having counselling is not about being ill or inadequate. It is about making a positive choice to help yourself.

What should I talk about with the Counsellor?

Talk to us about anything which troubles or upsets you. It could be about body image, sexuality, friendship, bullying or low self esteem. We help with grief, dealing with a death or even coping with a general worry. No issue is too small and no subject is right or wrong. Sometimes even the smallest things can cause great upset!

We're here to listen in a relaxing, private environment free from embarrassment. Whilst a friend or family member may judge you, we offer anonymous advice free from consequences. No one will ever know you've been to see us. All we ask is that you ''open up'', allowing your emotions to be released. This way, you can confront your issue and give us the most detailed information regarding why it upsets you. The more we know regarding the ''issue'', the more advice we can give.

We steer you in the right path. Nothing is right or wrong. Please remember that this is a real counselling service and not role play. We strictly only deal with real issues, chat is regulated by Moderators.

How will this service help me?

Sometimes just talking about something which concerns you can really help! As humans we ''bottle up'' our emotions and problems. Confronting your deepest thoughts and talking to an anonymous counsellor may offer you a better understanding of your issue, leading to a resolution.

There's no time limit. We never get tired or bored of listening.
Whilst friends or family may judge you, this service is entirely anonymous.

You're under no obligation to see us ever again, you don't have to worry about any consequences which may occur unlike if you told a friend or relative face to face. You may feel better after just one visit, but sometimes it can take multiple visits to have an impact on the issue.

Is this service free, safe and confidential?

This service is both free and safe. There's no charge what-so-ever. Our trained counsellors will never ask for any personal information such as your real name, location or contact details. They will only ask questions to help specifically with your issue and keep the conversation rolling. To ensure your session will be confidential, we'll hold it within a private environment with only you and the counsellor in a locked room. We don't record any information and you're under no obligation to ever see us again.

Keep in mind that all conversations are, however, recorded by Sulake, therefore your conversation will be moderated to ensure your safety. We cannot always guarantee that your chat log is entirely confidential due to Moderation and the Internet. Nothing is 100% confidential on the Internet. Your conversation may be monitored but not recorded for quality purposes by one of our managers. If this is the case, then they will be monitoring the counsellor for training purposes only and will always ask for your permission before hand, to monitor the session.

We ask that you always follow the ''Habbo Way'' whilst in our clinic. Should you break any rules of Habbo then we reserve the right to end your counselling session. As with all counselling sessions - If your Counsellor believes your at risk, or your putting others at risk, then for yours and others safety they may need to break confidentiality.

We are not held liable should confidentiality be broken since the Internet is never 100% Confidential. We suggest updating any Virus software on your computer to prevent spyware, viruses and key loggers from recording your information.

Who runs this service?

This counselling service is run by teens for teens. To ensure proper safety and upkeep it's managed by adults over the age of 21 years with some experience of Counselling, meaning it's a professionally run service by adults. Everybody on the team has experience with counselling offline. This is a voluntary, non profit making group of individuals providing a much needed service to youngsters.

The website and set-up was paid for out of our own pockets. With the younger generation (13-18) having the highest suicide rate in the world, we're providing an opportunity to help those in need. Under no circumstance do we record any details what-so-ever, unless someones life is at serious risk. We never, ever ask for personal information and we make no profit. This service is in no way connected to Sulake, Habbo or any other company or health care provider.

What are the rules?

We only deal with real life issues since this is not a role play or pretend service and cannot see anybody under the age of 13. If a counsellor suspects you're abusing the system, we reserve the right to ban your use of this service indefinitely. Since our Service is within the Habbo Community, you should always follow the Habbo Way, which can be found on Habbo.com.

Never, under any circumstances give out personal information such as contact details, location, name, telephone number or email. We will never, ever ask for your personal information. The service is entirely free, we don't accept any form of donation. Also, should you ask any member of staff for a job, your counselling session will be terminated and you'll be banned from the clinic. We have no job vacancies. This is not an employment office. This is an important busy clinic without the time to deal with time wasters.

We provide support for users age thirteen (13) and older. If you are under 13, you may not use the Here2Talk Service. We must comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998. If you are under eighteen (18), your use of Here2Talk signifies that you have consent from your parent or legal guardian to use the Here2Talk Service.

Can i make a donation or help you?

We have a Group Badge you can join, visit the link below:

www.habbo.com/groups/here2talk

This is a free service and under no circumstances do we accept donations. The best thing you can do to help us is to join our Group Badge. Please suggest our Clinic to your friends and use the advice given by your counsellor to better your life.

May i have a Job?

We strictly prohibit all employment requests since we're not a job provider. Any break of this rule will result in an immediate permanent ban from our clinic. We suggest joining our Group Badge incase this changes in the future. (See above)

What if my computer crashes during the counselling session?

We understand that rarely technology can break. Likewise, our counsellors can on occasions experience technical glitches. Should any incident occur which interrupts your counselling session, then we'll be happy to continue the counselling session on another occasion, since the technical glitch may happen again if we were to resume the same session. Since we're usually very busy, you'll have to re-enter our clinic and re-join the queue from the beginning.

How long will my counselling session last?

Since all issues are different, there's no average counselling time. Some sessions last ten minutes, others can last upwards towards twenty minutes. If we feel you may need further help or your session has lapsed over twenty minutes, then we'll either provide additional time or invite you back on another day depending on scheduling.

Can I see the same counsellor on multiple occasions?

With regret, we cannot always ensure you'll see the same counsellor twice. Should you wish to see the same counsellor again then feel free to ask them at the end of your session on which day they'll be returning. Most counsellors have a private timetable, attending the clinic on set days. In the unlikely event you cannot see the same counsellor again, please remember that all of our counsellors are specifically trained to help and can continue from where the previous session ended.

Finally, remember it's you who drives the session, not the counsellor. They are only here to listen and offer suggestions, steering you, the driver of your life in the right direction. They're in the passenger seat offering guidance. If you wish to see the same counsellor twice then please let them know at the end of your session.

Can i see a different counsellor as i would like a second opinion?

Of course! You can see as many of our counsellors as you like. But please remember that you'll have to queue up since it's a walk in clinic only and we cannot guarantee you'll meet a different counsellor.
We suggest turning up on multiple days, since different counsellors usually operate on different scheduled days.

How can i contact you?

You can get in touch with us via our clinic Manager who is ''Mr-Woman'' on Habbo.
Remember, don't contact us regarding a job opportunity or donation. We have no job openings and do not accept donations. Post your query on Mr-Woman's Guest Book, allowing 48 hours for a reply.

Clinic Manager:

www.habbo.com/home/mr-woman

Leave a message on Mr-Woman's guestbook and she will get back to you.

Are you associated with Sulake or Habbo?

No. This service is not linked with any Company, Service, Provider or Organisation. We're a voluntary group of amateurs set up to help youngsters seek assistance. Habbo is a Chat based service that we may use, like any other chat room or forum, to offer guidance.
